Synchronization Security

Hi,

I am working on a project where we store sensitive data in a sqlite database. We protected that database file on the local machine with e.g. with ACLs.

However we now would like to enhance our product with some redundancy capability. I wonder is LiteSync is implementing its synchronization protocol via secured communication protocol?

Hi Andras,

LiteSync supports encryption of the database and the communication between the nodes. You can check how to enable it here:

If you want increased security, I recommend to store the encrypted version of the URI on the app and decrypt it at runtime before opening the database.
