LICENSING
If your application includes or links to the LiteSync code or library you will need a license.
You can freely use the free version on your application. It is also well suited for testing purposes.
The full version of LiteSync is released under a Commercial License.
OPEN SOURCE
Although the LiteSync code is currently only released under a commercial license we decided to share some of our work with all the community.
In the long process of developing it we created some interesting modules that we released as open source projects under the MIT license.
They are:
- libuv_message_framing - message transfer on stream sockets
- uv_callback - communication between libuv threads
We also created and released others projects previously:
- binn serialization format (used in LiteSync)
- xrc4 (used in LiteSync)
- sqlite3-wrapper (modified fork, used with node-sqlite3 on Node.js)
- netstring-c (modified fork)
COMMERCIAL LICENCE
Your company just needs one license to all applications that will use LiteSync. So it is really cheap.
